First off, I know I'm a terrible blogger. I never update and all my posts are boring. Moving on.

The semester is over! Final exams are the root of all evil, but I passed all of my classes, so who cares. Only Ear Training gave me trouble, and I still scraped by with a C. Overall I would consider that a successful semester. I played in a recital, I didn't fail Ear Training, and I made a bunch of friends.

Speaking of friends, I just wanted to say that I love you guys so much. You made my semester bearable. More than bearable actually. You made it fun. So thanks guys. There is no better group of people than the crew.

In less mushy news, I am currently in Florida for the Holidays. The drive down here wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. It's always good to see the family, especially around Christmas. I hope all of you are having happy holidays and that you get the chance to spend them with the people you love.

So what do I do in Florida?Well, besides messing around on the internet I've been doing lots of reading recently. My wonderful friend nick Rich lent me a bunch of science books, and those plus the books I already had from paperbackswap means that I have a lot of reading to do. I'm currently on The Dispossessed, which is an excellent novel my Ursula K Le Guin. After tha I'm moving on to Snow Crash by Stevenson and The Varieties of Scientific Experience by Carl Sagan, courtesy of Nick. He's definitely the person to ask if you want well written science literature (or organ music, or astronomy, or anything really).

Anyway, what with all the exams and such that I haven't really been able to do many tasks recently. Hopefully while I'm here I'll be able to learn to sew, make some sushi, cook some new recipes, watch some movies, and read lots of books. I hope your holidays are just as fun and productive.
