Though the past few weeks have been some of the hardest weeks in recent memory, with tests and quizzes almost every day, here on this Friday there is still some good news to be had.

Fist of all, I would like to wish Skye a very happy 19th birthday! He turned 19 yesterday, though we didn't get much time to celebrate because he had to study for a history exam and I had a migraine. But tonight we will be going out for dinner, which should be lots of fun. Happy birthday dear. I love you very much.

Secondly, I have some fabulous news regarding this Spring's activities. As soon as the next person drops, I am officially going on the Vienna Trip! That's right, I get to spend my Spring break in Vienna and Salzburg with Skye and Nick, seeing some awesome sights and going to some sweet concerts, including the Vienna Philharmonic. I'm totally excited. This is all thanks to my wonderful grandparents, who are lending me the money until I can pay them back this summer.

In other news, I have finished The Life of Pi (again) and I am currently half way done with both The Kite Runner and V for Vendetta. I am still in the first 20 pages or so of Possession. I think that the reading challenge is going pretty well.

I am a music education major at UNC-G, and I play the oboe. My hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing music, and spending time with my friends. I am very liberal and concerned about a number of current issues. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my progress in completing 101 pre-set tasks in 1001 days, as well as to document my life and to comment on current events.
